Sign in or create an accountUse the same Living Docs account when your AI asks you to connect.
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Name it Living Docs and paste the server URL below.
- Connect, then sign in with your Living Docs account.

Optional: add the authoring skill

Living Docs runs the connection for you and keeps it updated. Your AI may ask you to refresh its tool list after an update.

From a first draft to an app you use
Start with the thing you need to do and the people who will use it. Try the core workflow first, then shape the design together. Your agent can keep improving the same document without starting over.
Open the document in your workspace to share it or open it as an app. On a phone, use your browser’s installation or Add to Home Screen option. Installed documents need an internet connection; notifications require your permission on each device.
Connection help
If your AI cannot connect, finish signing in, check that custom MCP connections are allowed for your account, and refresh or reconnect Living Docs in your AI’s settings. Use Connect agent in your workspace to manage connected apps or create a personal key for a local MCP client.
Setup instructions follow each client’s linked documentation. Client availability and account policies can change. Connecting directly is separate from a reviewed marketplace listing.
